Meg Cannistra spent her childhood in Sarasota, Florida, chasing after older sisters and relatives and learning to cook. Meg now lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with her two cats, Gloom and Doom, after a few years in New York City and northern New Jersey. She graduated from Flagler College with a BA in English literature and Hamline University with an MA in creative writing. She writes magical, strange, and sometimes scary stories when she isn't photographing her kitties or wondering around grocery shops. Her debut novel is The Problem with Shooting Stars.
