Hollywood has come to Paradise, Massachusetts. And Police Chief Jesse Stone has been distracted from his duty by a beautiful young producer. But before Jesse can get too cozy, the leading star of the movie, Marisol Hinton, approaches him for help. Robert B. Parker was the author of seventy books, including the legendary Spenser detective series, the Jesse Stone novels, the acclaimed Virgil Cole / Everett Hitch westerns, and the Sunny Randall novels. He passed away in 2010. An award-winning producer of more than thirty motion pictures, Michael Brandman collaborated with Robert B. Parker on more than a dozen of them, as well as cowriting numerous screenplays of Robert B. Parker's novels. He lives in California.
