Paul Collicutt spent his early years growing up at Lake Magadi, Kenya. He later moved to Brighton, where he completed a BA in Illustration. Working as an illustrator since the 1980s, Paul's work has appeared in books and magazines, on food packaging and in adverts. In 1999, his picture book This Train won a Parents' Choice Award Gold Medal in the US. Paul has been developing the world of Robot City since 1999. He started off with four action-packed graphic novels: City in Peril, Rust Attack, The Indestructible Metal Men and Murder on the Robot-City Express.
