Dorothea Wender is a poet (verse translations of Hesiod and Theognis), a scholar (The Final Scenes of the Odyssey), a children's book author (Frankie and the Fawn), and a fiction writer (Death Gets a Degree). She teaches Classics at Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts.
