Born in 1950 in Hammersmith, Bruce Oldfield began his life as a Dr Barnardo's boy. He was moved around several boy's homes until finding a loving foster mother and family in County Durham. His rise to fame and fortune has been well-documented but the real story behind fashion's biggest success story has never been told until now. Bruce currently lives in London, SW1.
