Roy Rogers (1911-1998), a singer and cowboy actor, was one of the most well-known performers of the twentieth century. He and his wife, Dale Evans, appeared in over a hundred films and television series, including The Roy Rogers Show, where he and his palomino, Trigger, and German Shepherd, Bullet, were featured. Dale Evans (1912-2001), the singer-songwriter, actor, speaker, and author of twenty-five books, including Revell's bestselling classic Angel Unaware, was the wife of Roy Rogers and the mother of nine children. She worked extensively for charity that helped abused and mentally ill children.
