Based on the experiences of her three daughters and herself at a single-sex boarding school, the novel is set at Windsor Castle in a fictional, prestigious all-girls boarding school near Princes William and Harry's alma mater, Eton College.

Calypso, an typical American teen, tells the story of how she navigates the Terrible Toffs and Horrible Hon.s' and learns about royal adolescent shenanigans. The books have been hailed as modern classics, a modernized version of Angela Brazil's early 1900s boarding school books. Calypso Chronicles can be found at www.calypsochronicles.com.
