Run River Run by Alan Fox
This book looks at Britain's rivers from a canoeing perspective. Rivers such as the Findhorn, Orchy, Tees and Spey from Scotland, the Tyne, Lune, Dart and Eden from England, the Conwy, Usk, Wye, Trywerwn, Lugwy and Dee from Wales. Each map is accompanied by a brief description passage with relevant information required by canoeists. The book also looks in less detail at easier rivers such as the Ouse, Severn, Avon, Thames, Trent, Nene, Stour, Tamar and Tay, which are more suitable for novice canoeists.
Fox, Alan: - Alan Fox is the founder and editor in chief of the poetry journal RATTLE. One of the preeminent interviewers of contemporary poets, Fox is editor of the anthology Rattle Conversations (Red Hen Press 2008), and author of the forthcoming book People Tools (Durban House).
