Rural Architecture (Esprios Classics) by Lewis F Allen
Lewis Falley/Fallie Allen (1800-1890) was an American businessman. Born in Westfield, Massachusetts, in 1827 he and his wife Margaret moved to Buffalo where he worked as secretary and financial manager of the Western Ensurance Company. He purchased the house of Gen. Peter B. Porter in Black Rock, where he remained for 50 years. He was chairman of the first Republican convention in Erie County and was elected to the state legislature in 1838. He wrote: Rural Architecture (1852), American Cattle: Their History, Breeding and Management (1868), Pedigrees of English Short-Horn Bulls (1874) and History of the Short-Horn Cattle: Their Origin, Progress and Present Condition (1883).| SKU | Unavailable |
