
Rusty Goes To London by Ruskin Bond
Rusty travels abroad to fulfil his dream of becoming a writer ! In his early twenties now, Rusty finally leaves Dehra and books a passage to England, dreaming of writing and selling his novel abroad. First in Jersey and then in London, he works as a clerk by day and writes in the evenings. Eventually, the novel is finished and Rusty even finds a publisher. But this, he discovers, does not mean that his book will see the light of day soon.

He has co-edited 'Himalaya: Adventures, Meditations, Life '(with Namita Gokhale) and 'Prankenstein: The Book of Crazy Mischief '(with Jerry Pinto). He was awarded the Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1999 and the Padma Bhushan in 2014.
