She started the Sherborne Literary Festival and ran it for four years before stepping down to spend time on her writing. She has learnt from experience how to make a festival work and has spoken to numerous festival organisers about the way they run their festivals. In this book she includes a huge selection of their advice on all aspects of festivals.
