Nadejda Jastrjembskaia has been involved in rhythmic gymnastics at many levels-as a scientist, educator, coach, administrator, judge, and gymnast. Born in the USSR, she graduated from P.F. Lesgaft's Academy of Physical Culture with a Candidate of Pedagogical Science degree. She coached for a Kaliningrad Regional RSG School and taught RSG courses at Kaliningrad State University. Most recently, she was the chief coordinator for Malaysia's RSG development program and a consultant for the Malaysian Gymnastic Federation. In 1998 she opened her own gymnastics center. Jastrjembskaia makes her home in Madison, Alabama.
Yuri Titov is the former president of the International Gymnastics Federation. He was a member of the USSR gymnastics team from 1956 to 1966. During that time, he participated in all Olympic Games and World Championships, winning a total of 33 medals, including 11 gold medals. Titov lives in Moscow, Russia.
