The Sacred Journey by Charles Foster

Exploring the history of pilgrimage across cultures and religions, Foster uses tales of his own travels to examine the idea of approaching each day as a pilgrimage, and he offers encouragement to anyone who wants to experience a sacred journey.

Charles Foster went to Hollywood on leave during WWII and formed lifelong ties with many of the Canadians he now writes about. Later in his career, he wrote comedy for a variety of TV shows and for comedians such as Bob Hope and Jack Benny. His debut novel, Stardust and Shadows, was a critical success.
