Molly and Walter move from London to Poltrue, a village in Cornwall. Strange things begin to happen when Molly starts having odd dreams and Walter gets caught in a storm from which he is rescued by Martha. Unbeknownst to them both, Martha is a witch and is determined to win Walter.
Janice Elliott read English at St Anne's College, Oxford, then joined The Sunday Times. She left for full time writing and now has twenty-three novels, a volume of short stories, and five children's books to her credit. She has been described as 'one of the best novelists writing in England'.
