Sagebrush Country by Ronald J Taylor

Through color photographs and nontechnical descriptions, this book introduces visitors and residents alike to the abundant plant life in the land of bitterbrush and coyotes.

Ronald J. Taylor is a retired Western Washington University botany and plant ecology professor. As an undergraduate, a field trip to the Great Basin and Mojave Deserts piqued his interest in desert species, and his research and teaching presented him with numerous opportunities to study and photograph desert plants. Taylor has written four volumes for Mountain Press and is the author of countless scientific and popular articles and books.
