Sally Goes to the Beach by Stephen Huneck

This is the story of Sally the Labrador's holiday at the beach. When she arrives she encounters new friends, new smells, new games, and best of all, new adventures.

Stephen Huneck was an internationally famous painter, sculptor, and printer, as well as the bestselling and award-winning author of seven prior Sally adventures. The American Folk Art Museum and the Smithsonian American Art Museum both have his work in their collections. In St. Louis, he lived with his wife, Gwen, and their four dogs. His Dog Chapel is located near Dog Mountain in Johnsbury, Vermont. Huneck was inspired to write these stories by his own dog, Sally. Huneck passed away in 2010.
