This historical fantasy novel, is a reimagining of the execution of John the Baptist following Salome's dance, based on biblical accounts, re-telling it by using the voices of peripheral characters. It is the story of a daughter who cannot forgive her mother and a son who cannot forgive his brothers.

W J Worham is an author and teacher who lives in Kent with her husband and two children. She studied Theology & Religious Studies at Cambridge University followed by an MA in Religious Education at King's College London. She then went on to teach secondary school Religious Studies and Critical Thinking. Her interest in biblical stories inspired her debut novel, ‘Salome's Wish’, based around Salome's dance at Herod's banquet.
