Larry Silverberg graduated from Virginia Polytechnic University with a doctorate in engineering mechanics in 1983. He was appointed professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at North Carolina State University in 1995, a position he still maintains. He is the author of more than 50 journal articles and a mechanics book, and he teaches field theory to engineering and applied science students. Larry Silverberg obtained his PhD of engineering mechanics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1983 and was appointed to a chair in mechanical and aerospace engineering at North Carolina State University in 1995, a position he still holds today. He is the author of more than 50 publications and one book, as well as two graduate courses on field dynamics for engineering and applied sciences students. Professor Silverberg's main research interests right now include field dynamics and dynamical system control.
