Barry Davies, BEM served in the British Special Air Service for eighteen years, flying missions all over the world. He received the British Empire Medal for his role in the storming of the hijacked Lufthansa airliner in Mogadishu in 1977. He's also the author of the books Soldier of Fortune Guide to Becoming a Mercenary, Soldier of Fortune Guide to Disappearing and Never Being Found, The SAS Self-Defense Handbook, and Modern Survival. He is based in Cardiff, United Kingdom.
