Peter S. Thompson, PhD, is a Lead Psychologist for Douglas County Schools, a district of over 70 schools in Colorado. In addition to his responsibilities as supervisor of school psychologists in the district, he is also the district's Traumatic Brain Injury Team Leader and liaison to the Colorado Department of Education on TBI. Dr. Thompson also serves as the school neuropsychologist at the Rocky Mountain Youth Sports Medicine Institute. He received his PhD in Psychology with a specialty in School Neuropsychology from Northcentral University. Dr. Thompson authored the first edition of The School Psychology Licensure Exam Guide in 2004 in order to help the school psychology interns in his district study for and pass the required Praxis Test in School Psychology.
