The Science Fiction Film Reader by Gregg Rickman

An illustrated collection of essays by masters such as H.G. Wells, Luis Bunuel, Jorge Luis Borges, Arthur C. Clarke, Anthony Burgess, Joseph Campbell, Pauline Kael, George F. Will, Robin Wood, and Susan Sontag.

Rickman, Gregg J. (Ph.D.) Between 2003 and 2006, he worked as a senior Committee aide and Staff Director for three Foreign Affairs Committee and Subcommittee Chairs on financial, criminal, and foreign aid investigations, as well as terror financing issues. He has led various national and international advocacy projects, including a three-year campaign against Swiss banks that resulted in a $1.25 billion settlement for Holocaust survivors; a campaign to discover Iraqi abuses of the UN's Oil-for-Food program; and numerous more involving criminal and policy issues. He was Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice's Special Envoy to Monitor and Fight Anti-Semitism for over three years, visiting to twenty-eight nations in support of anti-Semitism and intolerance victims. Over his career, his diplomatic efforts and contacts in approximately fifty nations across Europe, the Middle East, the Gulf, Afghanistan, Latin America, Australia, and Southeast Asia, as well as dozens of Embassies in Washington, resulted in the resolution of major international issues.

He has been widely published in the US and abroad, including two volumes on Holocaust-era restitution, and he has lectured and been interviewed in the US and around the world. He is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Religion and Public Policy in Washington, D.C., as well as a Visiting Fellow at Yale University's Yale Project for the Interdisciplinary Study of Antisemitism (YIISA) and a Research Scholar at the Institute for Jewish & Community Research's Initiative on Anti-Semitism and Anti-Israelism. He is also a contributor to The Cutting Edge News and a Human Rights Analyst.
