There is a fully indexed full-colour atlas, providing a wealth of extra cartographic information.Dr David Munro has been the Director of the RSGS since 1996, having formerly been a member of the Department of Geography at Edinburgh University. His previous published works include the Oxford Dictionary of the World, the Chambers World Gazetteer and the Hutchinson Guide to the World.
The project was conceived in 1995 by Dr Munro with Bruce Gittings of the University of Edinburgh.
