After various degrees in medicine and medical sciences from Lund (Sweden) and London, Dr Anna Paterson has spent most of her professional life as a medical academic in England, The Netherlands and Scotland. She is now a research consultant, a literary translator, and is currently writing her first novel, which is based in a clinical setting.
