The Sculptor by Gregory Funaro
Simon Maitland loved the feel of the clay between his fingers. He never learned to talk to other children, so this was the way he communicated. He was talented, more so than any of his teachers had ever seen, and he received the best education his wealthy parents could afford, becoming one of the leading sculptors in New York. But Simon had a secret, something inside that drove him to seek out subjects for his work - which was murder.Gregory Funaro grew up in Cranston, Rhode Island, and in fourth grade, he wrote his first story, The Ghost in the Window. He thinks this to be his best work, but it has tragically been lost to the passage of time. Greg majored in theatrical at the University of New Hampshire after high school and went on to earn an AM in theatre arts from Brown University and an MFA in performing from the FSU/Asolo Conservatory after different acting jobs. Greg is a theatre professor at East Carolina University and is now writing on the next Odditorium novel.
