The author explores facets of Irish life which owe something to the genius, effectiveness or determination of the Fianna Fail leader. 'There are few facets of Irish life which do not owe something to the genius, effectiveness or determination of Lemass. Horgan's biography explores that contribution quite brilliantly.' Stephen Collins - 'The Sunday Tribune' 'John Horgan has written, in a detached and careful style, the first substantial biography of Sean Lemass.' Gemma Hussey - 'The Irish Independent' Other books by John Horgan Noel Browne
