A Season in Hell by Arthur Rimbaud

One of 60 low-priced classic texts published to celebrate Penguin's 60th anniversary. All the titles are extracts from "Penguin Classics" titles.

Arthur Rimbaud composed some of the most enduring poetry in global literature. He was a poet of logical revolts, sexual liberation, ardent modernist, Symbolist, and inspiration to beatniks, conceptual artists, and punks. From 1870 and 1875, he worked for only five years, during which time he penned his most famous prose poetry, Une Saison en enfer (A SEASON IN HELL, Green Landtern Publishing, 2010) and Illuminations. FESTIVALS OF PATIENCE: THE VERSE POEMS OF ARTHUR RIMBAUD (Kenning Editions, 2021) is his first book.
