Season of the 76ers by Wayne Lynch

Written for people who know a joke when they see one, Making a Joke Out of One's Life contains more than 2,500 side-splitting jokes and witty one-liners. Ken Willidau's unique brand of humour addresses all aspects of life-from birth to death and everything in between.

Willidau employs a variety of humourous devices to convey his message. The myriad of one-liners includes dark humour, tongue-in-cheek wit, jest, self-deprecating humour, plays on words, and more. Sections revolve around themes such as school, religion, sporting, homosexuality, depression and aging.

Clever chapter titles make for interesting reading: Here Goes Nothing-The First Weak, The Deformative Years, Friends and Enemas, Sporting-A Black Eye, Proxy Morons, and Suicide-A-Go-Go are just a few hilarious plays on words that you'll encounter.

Making a Joke Out of One's Life is perfect for that rainy afternoon spent inside and will give you a whole new repertoire of jokes to share with your friends and enemies

Wayne Lynch became a fan of the Philadelphia 76ers in the mid-1960s as a teenager growing up in Pittsburgh. He started a small scrapbook about the team back then, but it was not until more than three decades later that he decided to tell the full story of the 1967 championship team he loved so much. Mr. Lynch is a longtime television journalist who is now Vice President of News and Programming at Newschannel 8, the 24-hour cable news service for greater Washington, D.C. He lives with his wife, Karen, in northern Virginia. His son, Matthew, lives and works in Philadelphia.
