Alex Segura is a novelist and a creator of comic books. He is the author of the first in a series of Pete Fernandez crime novels, SILENT CITY, set in Miami. This year, Polis Books will publish SILENT CITY and its sequel, DOWN THE DARKEST STREET. He's also written a variety of comic books, including the critically acclaimed and best-selling ARCHIE MEETS KISS storyline, the Occupy Riverdale story, and the upcoming ARCHIE MEETS RAMONES. He and his wife live in New York.

He was born and raised in Miami.
