Victoria Connelly graduated from Worcester University with a degree at English Literature, married in a historic castle in the Yorkshire Dales, and now lives in rural Suffolk with her artist husband, a young springer spaniel, and a flock of ex-battery hens. She is the author of the Austen Addicts and The Book Lovers series, as well as a number of additional novels and novellas. Flights of Angels, her first published novel, was adapted into a film by Ziegler Films in Germany in 2008. The Romantic Novelists' Association's Romantic Comedy Novel award was shortlisted for The Runaway Actress. Ms. Connelly enjoys reading, films, strolling, historic buildings, and animals. She may typically be found in her garden, either with a trowel in her hand or a hen on her lap, if she isn't at her keyboard writing.
