I'm a proud member of the National Writers Union's Boston chapter and the Independent Book Publishers Association. I've lived a really interesting life thus far, and I believe I'm nearing the halfway mark. I've worked as an author, a community organizer, a bookstore, a publishing executive, a marathon runner, a schoolteacher and coach, a fruit picker, an elected official, and a variety of other jobs along the road.

Writing, publishing, reading, music, film, progressive politics, the Celtics and the Red Sox are just a few of my interests. last but not least... My three daughters, as well as my grandchild Richard Ford, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Sue Miller, James Joyce, and D.H. Lawrence are among his favorite authors.
