Cheshire Calhoun is Professor of Philosophy at Arizona State University. Her two previous books, Moral Aims: Getting It Right and Practicing Morality with Others (2016) and Feminism, the Family, and the Politics of the Closet: Lesbian and Gay Displacement (2000) were also published by Oxford
University Press. Calhoun works in the areas of normative ethics, moral psychology, philosophy of emotion, and feminist philosophy.
