Mary Hoffman is a highly acclaimed journalist and writer who has campaigned against sexism and racism in children's literature since 1971. Previous Titles: Mary has written more than 80 books for children, including My Grandma has Black Hair, Dracula's Daughter, Dog Powder and Mermaid and Chips. Amazing Grace, her first book for Frances Lincoln, has sold over 1.5 million copies and was commended for the Kate Greenaway Medal. A sequel, Grace & Family, was published in 1994.
