Anne Nelson is a dramatist and an novelist who teaches at Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs. She has received various honors and accolades, including a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2005 and the Livingston Award for foreign reporting in 1989. Her books and articles have been extensively distributed, and her play The Guys has been performed all over the globe. Nelson worked as a war correspondent in El Salvador and Guatemala from 1980 to 1983, and his work appeared in The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and a variety of other media. She is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and a Yale University graduate.
