The Shell Pilot to the English Channel
Summary
The feel-good place to buy books

The Shell Pilot to the English Channel by Jo Coote
This is the third, fully revised, edition of the book which first appeared in 1985 and was highly commended by the judges of the Thomas Cook Travel Book Prize. It is a concise guide to a magical cruising-ground which many rate above any other in Europe, yet is little more than an overnight crossing from ports on the South Coast. All recent changes have been incorporated, and the photographs and charts have been updated as necessary, the latter by James Petter. This Pilot is a companion guide to Volume 1 which covers harbours on the South Coast from Ramsgate to the Scilly Isles. A third companion volume is "The Shell Guide to Yacht Navigation". As with previous editions, the times of High and Low Water at Dover are inserted looseleaf, renewable on demand each year.| SKU | Unavailable |
