Sheltie in Danger by Peter Clover
When Emma falls through the ice on Horseshoe Pond, Sheltie, her Shetland pony, is very brave and comes to the rescue. But his dip in the icy water makes Sheltie very ill. The vet doesn't hold out much hope, but Emma, determined to save her beloved Sheltie's life, nurses him back to health.
Peter Clover works as an illustrator in an advertising agency and has recently begun to enjoy putting words to his pictures. He has illustrated non-fiction books in the past. The Sheltie stories are his first fiction titles for children. Peter Clover lives in Somerset.
