Anne Taylor was born in Northumberland in 1944 and later moved to Jersey where she lived for thirteen years. Returning to the North she took up a career with Newcastle Social Services. Now retired and back in her native Northumberland she continues to write and create local crafts and also continues her hobby of gold panning. Her second book 'From under a Stone' is nearly finished.
