When young surgeon David Carroll suspects that the mysterious buyers who want to purchase his group's medical practice are Russian mobsters, he decides to take a stand against them. This decision takes a disastrous turn when the mobsters attack his home, killing his wife and the three FBI agents assigned to protect them. MICHAEL J.COLLINS is a former Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force and an Associate Professor of Political Science at Troy State University. He has served on the Air Staff at the Pentagon at the International Military Staff at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, as well as teaching at the Air Command and Staff College and West Point. He has co-edited a number of books on military topics.
