Short History of Ireland by Martin Wallace

Media and public discourses often consider Vienna as a cultural city. This study of Vienna's recent planning practice and discourses shows how this perception is skilfully shaped by political constructions of cultural imaginaries in and of the city. The book unveils how simplistic cognitive interpretations of culture not only define an unquestioned, reductionist idea of the city's cultural character - it also explains how they influence the recent urban development practice in one of Europe's globalizing cities.

Martin Wallace was born in Hampshire in 1962, and started designing board games in 1990. He self-published his first game, Lords of Creation, in 1993 and has had over seventy games published since. Martin is best known for Steam, Brass, Discworld Ankh Morpork, and A Few Acres of Snow.
Having spent most of his life in Manchester, he now resides in Queensland, Australia.

Wietse Treurniet is a multidisciplinary artist with a wide range of interests. With experience in game design, he has worked on concept art for Nimbi, but his primary training has been in illustration, visual design, and 3D modelling. He lives in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
