The Silvergate Restoration by Marcel K Andrews

A year-long restoration project for a historical conservation group sees a gang of builders restore a group of three eighteenth century cottages in Norfolk that were badly damaged by a fire. During the year-long contract the lives of the builders involved are followed. Their stories of life and the challenges that face them both at home and at work place. Funny stories, romantic and passionate stories, as well as a few darker troubling stories within.
Andrews, Marcel K.: - The author, Marcel K Andrews, comes from Norwich and works in the construction industry as a bricklayer. He is married and has a teenage son. His first steps into writing began back in 2007 when he learned to use a computer by tracing his ancestry and turning his research into a book-type document, copied and shared among his family. After this, he was inspired to write The Broadland Tree by a feature on a breakfast television programme. Since then, he has written a sequel that is yet to be published.
