Home for the Holidays, which won an International Association of Culinary Professionals Cookbook Award, Dinner Pies, Country Baking, and Apple Pie are among his 12 other volumes. He's a regular contributor to Bon Appetit, Better Homes and Gardens, and Eating Well magazines, and he's the Dean of The Pie Academy (thepieacademy.com), an online resource for pie-making knowledge and legend. He is a native of New Jersey and a former Navy Seabee who now lives in Wilmington, North Carolina, with his wife.
