Simply Fabulous Knitting by Montse Stanley

Find your inner knitting goddess and discover everything a girl should know - the fabulous way! Whether you think balls of yarn are only for kittens, or you already know that 'twisted stitches' aren't the latest rock group, this fun and fabulous book is your new best friend. Just like the perfect confidante, it will share advice, tips and tricks, and be at your side to support you through new experiences, and guide you through tricky spots, from learning to cast off before that scarf hits the mile mark, to reading a knitting pattern properly (it could mean the difference between a jumper and a mini-dress!). Step by step (whether you prefer to knit in fluffy slippers or killer heels is entirely up to you) indulge in the creative possibilities of knitting and take your favourite techniques to new heights.
Born in Spain, much of Montse Stanley's life was absorbed by her passion for handknitting. She contributed to many publications and had a regular column in the trade magazine, the Knitting and Haberdashery Review, she bacame a household name in the knitting world, known for her creative flair, technical mastery and innovation in design. Sadly, Montse died in 1999, but leaves us with a wealth of knitting experience that can not be bettered.
