The SimplyRaw Living Foods Detox Manual by Natasha Kyssa
An informative and useful manual guiding the reader through a 28-day detox programme which includes eating only raw and living foods. Many detox and nutritional plans espouse the virtues of only raw food, but author and raw foods lifestyle coach Natasha Kyssa also champions the inclusion of living foods - those that have been soaked, sprouted and fermented. Including 135 recipes as well as plenty of guidelines and background information, the SimplyRaw guide follows a proven approach to better health, natural weight loss and healthy lifestyle changes.
Natasha Kyssa has been a raw vegan for almost 25 years. She worked as a fashion model in Asia and Europe for ten years, then gave it up to live on her own in Southeast Asia for another two. When she returned to North America, she became a raw vegan and worked in the natural health care industry before becoming a raw foods entrepreneur. She runs SimplyRaw, a healthy lifestyles consulting company, and SimplyRaw Express, a vegan restaurant in Ottawa, where she lives. Her first book, The SimplyRaw Living Foods Detox Manual, was published by Arsenal in 2009.
