Johnny Black is an author and journalist based in Wiltshire, England. His recent books include the groundbreaking Rock And Pop Timeline. A former head of press at Polydor Records, he contributes regularly to Q, Mojo, and Blender magazines. Mark Brend is a writer and musician based in London, England. Author of American Troubadours and Strange Sounds, he writes extensively on music for publications including Record Collector, and regularly releases albums and singles on independent labels.
