Sir Gadabout Goes to Knight School by Martyn Beardsley
When Sir Lancelot is called away from Knight School, Sir Gadabout becomes the teacher - even though he's the one who needs to learn a thing or two about courtly conduct. How can the lads defeat the King of Gaul and his angry mob with the worst knight in the world as their leader? A story full of comic cunning and chaos.
'I really liked the part where a knight's spear hits a wall with such a clang that all his armour falls off, piece by piece' -- Leo Taylor (age 6) INDEPENDENT ON SUNDAY 'A lovely, funny book, full of very bad jokes, which are often the best sort, and the atmosphere of a Carry-On film, this book will delight many.' -- Dennis Hamley CAROUSEL
