Skinny Soups by Kathryn Bruton
Soups are perfect for low-calorie, big-flavour meals and Kathryn Bruton has created a range of skinny soups to suit everyone, whether they want something warming and comforting, invigorating and revitalising or wholesome and satisfying.
Kathryn's passion for food stemmed from a childhood spent in the kitchen with her parents on the family farm in Ireland. After completing a degree in fashion, she rekindled her love of cooking at the Edinburgh School of Food and Wine. After years spent working in kitchens, catering and management, she went on to pen her successful blog The Lazy Baker (named as one of Cosmopolitan's favourite healthy food blogs) before she settled into her dream career as a food stylist and writer. Over her years working in the industry, she has found herself behind the scenes at Masterchef, as well as working on ad campaigns for brands such as Waitrose, Schwarts and Tate and Lyle. Cookbooks are her passion, and she has been involved with books from The Great British bake off series, as well as by authors and cooks such as Diana Henry, Harry Eastwood, Rachel Allen and Lorraine Pascale. At a time she could also be found working with food magazines such as Delicious, Jamie Oliver and BBC Good Food. Skinny Soups is Kathryn's first book and reflects her ambition to create enticing, unusual and exciting recipes which are high in nutrition and low in calories. Her ideas will help you create show-stopping dishes bursting with flavour for every meal of the day. Visit her online at www.thelazybaker.co.uk Instagram: The_LazyBaker
