A wonderful book about accepting differences and being happy with oneself!Nicola Moon was born in Bristol, but lived for most of her childhood in Yorkshire. She loved reading and bedtime stories. After school she went to Bristol University and gained a BSc in microbiology. She has worked as a laboratory research assistant and a secondary school science teacher. Nicola's first picture book was published in 1994 and to date she has had over a dozen titles published.
Ailie Busby is a very talented illustrator with a distinctive style. She has had work published by Scholastic and Orion and currently lives in Newcastle upon Tyne with her family.
