One of Ireland's most innovative writers, Enda Walsh possesses a truly original theatrical voice (Guardian). Enda Walsh is the author of five Edinburgh Festival Fringe First Award-winning plays, including The Walworth Farce, The New Electric Ballroom, and Penelope. His award-winning play Disco Pigs was also a highly acclaimed film in 2001, and he co-wrote the film Hunger (2009), winner of the Camera d'Or award at the Cannes Film Festival.

Enda Walsh is an Irish playwright who has won numerous awards. He is based in London. Since 1998, his work has been performed abroad and has been translated into over twenty languages. Ballyturk and Room 303 at the 2014 Galway International Arts Festival; Misterman, produced by Landmark Productions and Galway International Arts Festival in Ireland, London, and New York (2011-2012); and many plays for Druid Theatre Company, including Penelope, which was performed in Ireland, America, and London from 2010 to 2011, and The New Electric Ballroom, which was performed in Ireland, America, and London from 2010 to 2011. In 2012, he won a Tony Award for writing the book for the Broadway, West End, and American tour of the musical Once.

Delirium (Theatre O/Barbican), which was performed in Dublin and on a British tour in 2008; Chatroom (National Theatre), which was performed at the National Theatre and on a tour in the United Kingdom and Asia (2006-2007); and The Little Things (Paines Plough), which was performed in London and Ireland (2005). Bedbound (Dublin Theatre Festival) and Disco Pigs (Corcadorca) are two of his early plays. Disco Pigs (Temple Films/Renaissance) and Hunger (Blast/FILM4), which won the Camera d'Or at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, are two of his films.
