Smoke and Roses by Adelaide Clare Attard

Smoke and Roses is a collection of nonfiction stories and poems, including topics such as childhood, divorce, school, travel and the author's experience finding herself as a woman. This collection of stories and poems takes the reader on a journey through the author's life as she grows up, travels, makes mistakes and matures.

Adelaide Clare Attard holds a double major in English and Professional Writing and Communications from the University of Toronto Mississauga. Adelaide maintains a cruelty-free lifestyle as a women's rights activist and aspiring vegetarian. She can be found strolling around Whole Foods aisles or drinking a matcha green tea latte at a neighborhood coffee shop, reading Canadian literature and the writings of her favorite poet, Sylvia Plath. Adelaide and her Maltese Yorkie, Ollie, currently reside in Mississauga, Ontario. She aspires to be a journalist, an editor, or a poet in the future.
