Farah Vishwakarma, a grade-focused college student, had always been an introvert. So when her best friend suggested following a band on tour across the USA, it wasn't something she thought she would ever agree to.

On the 24th of June, 1999 Kay C. Barrow was born in Bedford, Bedfordshire in the east of England. Although being young at the time of writing her debut novel, that didn't slow down the hunger for more. Always striving to do better, regardless of the scenario. After being diagnosed with several anxiety disorders she spent a lot of time channelling any bad thoughts through creative processes such as writing. Writing became her own personal therapist, using words and fictional characters to express her subconscious. It was only in 2014 when Kay began to start taking writing seriously, beginning to work day and night on any project that came to mind. Whilst eating, on the bus to school, at 3am with tired eyes and even using revision time for exams to write - the ideas never stopped. It was finally in early 2017 that she decided to write something for the world, rather than just herself. That was when Ill-Gotten Gains was born...
