SOMETIMES MADNESS IS WISDOM by Kendall Taylor
The story of Zelda Sayre, a talented and beautiful Southern belle who captured the heart of writer F. Scott Fitzgerald. Taylor sheds light on the lives of a hugely glamorous couple who symbolized the excess and flamboyance of the Jazz Age - an age where anything went, but at considerable cost.
Kendall Taylor, Ph.D., a cultural historian, has been a professor and museum curator. Her interest in Zelda Fitzgerald began thirty years ago when she was a graduate student and read Arthur Mizener's Biography of F. Scott Fitzgerald. Noting that Mizener's study left Zelda's life largely undocumented, Taylor began her own research by speaking with many of the Fitzgeralds' acquaintances and conducting interviews with Zelda's friends and family.
